Send us a message

If a track refuses to download, a listing looks wrong, or you simply want to ask how something here works, this form is the way to reach us. A person reads what arrives, so a few specifics about what you were doing save us both a round of guessing.

Write to us

Three things are needed: a name to greet you by, an address a reply can go to, and a sentence or two about what is going on.

Worth putting in a report

The address of the track, album or artist page you were on — copying it out of the browser bar is enough.
What you were expecting to happen.
What happened instead, word for word if the site put a message on screen.
Which browser you were using, and whether you were on a phone, a tablet or a computer.

Four short notes like that are usually enough for us to run into the same problem ourselves, which is the step that has to come before anything can be fixed.

When you will hear back

This is an independent project kept running in spare time. There is no support team, no queue position and no ticket number — just somebody getting to the inbox when the week allows, so please count on days rather than minutes.

Your address is used to answer you and for nothing else. If your note needs no reply at all, say so and we will simply act on it.

If you hold the rights

MP3Download keeps no audio of its own. Results, artwork and the thirty-second preview clips all come from a third-party catalogue, and the pages here show what that catalogue returns.

If a release should not be listed, give us the artist and title, a link to the page you saw it on, and a line about how you are connected to the recording. We will look at what can be done from this side and write back either way.

A few things that come up a lot

Some of the most common reports have answers already. If one of these matches what you are seeing, you may not need to write at all.

Wondering what happens to the details you send, or what the site does and does not promise? The privacy page and the terms cover both.
